ERFID — the unified RFID solutions center — and Tashkent State Transport University have signed a memorandum of understanding on developing scientific, innovation and technological cooperation. It is a first step toward systematic partnership between an industry RFID integrator and Uzbekistan's leading state university for the transport sector.
What the parties agreed on
The memorandum sets out the general principles of cooperation: jointly studying the challenges of digitalizing transport, primarily railway transport, and developing RFID-based solutions adapted to local conditions and affordable for the industry.
Areas of cooperation
- introducing RFID technologies into transport and railway infrastructure;
- developing and improving RFID equipment, software and automated control systems;
- testing and lab trials of new technological solutions on the university's premises;
- joint scientific and practical conferences, seminars and presentations.
The memorandum itself does not create financial obligations — specific projects and services will be formalized through separate agreements as needed.
For ERFID, this partnership is part of a broader effort to bring RFID technology to Uzbekistan's transport sector; read more about related solutions on our industries page.
