GPS seals — real-time cargo control
A GPS seal (electronic seal) combines a sealing device with a GPS/GSM tracker. It seals the cargo, tracks its route and instantly signals any tampering attempt. This is reliable transport control for logistics, fuel and chemical tankers, containers and customs transit.
What an electronic GPS seal is
Unlike an ordinary single-use seal, an electronic seal transmits data online: where the cargo is, whether the lock is open or closed, and whether the cable or body has been tampered with. The lock can be opened or closed remotely — for example, only at the destination, by a command from the system.
Capabilities
- Real-time location and route;
- Alerts on tampering, cable cut and body opening;
- Geofences and route-deviation alerts;
- Remote lock/unlock of the seal;
- Event log and reports for every trip.
Where it is used
GPS seals are used by carriers and logistics companies, fuel and liquid-tanker operators, importers and exporters on customs transit, and anyone who needs to guarantee the safety and legality of cargo in transit. The solution complements RFID accounting in the warehouse and at shipping.
Monitoring platform and software
The seals work with a cloud monitoring platform (web and mobile app): a real-time map, lock status, alarms, history and reports. Data is accessible from a computer and phone with per-user permissions. We supply the seals together with the software and setup.
